Wisconsin.gov - The State of Wisconsin's information server and a starting point to guide you to the many resources available from Wisconsin state agencies, departments and other governmental branches. It also provides links to information resources at the University of Wisconsin campuses, as well as sources from other states and the federal government.

BARN AGAIN! - A national program to preserve historic farm buildings sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and Successful Farming magazine. BARN AGAIN! provides up-to-date information to help owners of historic barns rehabilitate them and put them back to productive use on farms and ranches. They can provide technical assistance through the BARN AGAIN! Hot line, publish rehabilitation guides, sponsor workshops, exhibits and other events and present annual awards for the best examples of historic barns rehabilitated for continued farming use.

Barn Again! - A web site developed by the Ohio Historic Preservation Office and the Ohio State University Extension which describes the barn preservation program in Ohio.

The Barn Journal On-Line - An extensive site dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of traditional farm architecture. Includes articles and stories about barn owners, preservationists, and experts, notices about upcoming events, and ads for those with buildings for buying, selling or donating.

The Barns of Underhill: A Pictorial Survey - A collection of barn images, photographed over the course of one year, which attempts to document all barns currently existing in the town of Underhill, Vermont.

Centreville Settlement - read about this not for profit, tax exempt organization dedicated to preserving the farming heritage in the Centerville area. This is a unique organization that provides opportunities for the general public to participate in restoration and hands on learning.

Land Trust

The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training - The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training promotes and enhances the preservation of historic resources in the United States for present and future generations through the advancement and dissemination of preservation technology and training.

The National Parks Service Links to the Past - A place for cultural resources, technical assistance, and sources for expert advice and training. You can also discover information on tax credits related to historic preservation and on special NPS grants for many purposes.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation - The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a nonprofit organization with more than 260,000 members. As the leader of the national preservation movement, the National Trust is committed to saving America's diverse historic environments and to preserving and revitalizing the livability of communities nationwide. It has seven regional offices, owns 18 historic sites and works with thousands of community groups in all 50 states.

Rural Conservation Clubs Program - Canada-Ontario Agriculture Green Plan. First announced in December of 1992, Agriculture Canada's Rural Conservation Clubs program was established to support innovative research and demonstration projects in environmentally sustainable agriculture.

The Timber Framers Guild - A site dedicated to promoting the centuries-old craft of timber framing.

Vermont Divison for Historic Preservation: Taking Care of Your Old Barn - provides property owners with a basic guide to taking care of their historic barns and farm buildings. Includes general guidelines, a short history of barns, ten tips for barn maintenance and repair, ways to adapt barns to other uses, sources of advice and funding for barn preservation, and a list of organizations that offer aid to people working on their barns.

The Wisconsin Historical Society - A site full of information of interest to barn preservationists addressing topics such as tax credits, relevant publications, and what it means to have your property listed on the National and State Register of Historic Places.

The Wisconsin Trust for Historic Preservation - A private, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the historical, architectural, and archeological heritage of Wisconsin.
